A good air conditioning servicing should include cleaning of the fan coils and blowers, checking the compressor, oiling the fan motors, as well as checking the system operating pressures and temperatures. One very important thing to note is that you or your servicing contractor should not just use a brush or vacuum to clean the fan coils and blowers. By just brushing or vacuuming it, dirt and dust will be loosened into the air. As you breathe them into your lungs, it will make you fall sick easily. So, ensure that they always used a lab certified chemicals to detoxify the bacteria and dirt while cleaning it.
Other than regular servicing, you can also buy good filters and change them regularly so as to ensure a high level of comfort for your room. Next, you should always clean the exterior of the unit with a moist and clean cloth, so as to prevent any layer of dirt forming on the exterior of your aircon unit.
All mechanic equipments need regular maintenance so as to maintain their efficiency and make them more reliable. With regular maintenance, they are less likely to suffer a major break down and also make them have longer life spans.
